Four days, eight stages, 150 bands and 100,000 festival guests: The Woodstock Brass Band drew crowds to the Innviertel in Ort im Innkreis, with 20,000 musicians taking part in a concert at the same time. Saturday's tickets were sold out in advance, and there were many children and parents – especially from the Innviertel – as day guests at Woodstock Family Sunday. Around 150 bands and more than 1,500 musicians from eleven countries could be heard and seen on the eight stages over the four festival days.
According to the organizers, the arrival day went smoothly thanks to ideal weather conditions and the mood of the festival guests was lively. On the main stage, there was a wide range of music to listen to, from traditional bands such as Ernst Hutter & the Egerländer Musikanten, Viera Blech and Saso Avsenik to the headliners The BossHoss, folkshilfe and AUT of ORDA. As a surprise, mobile concerts were held on the festival grounds. In addition to the indoor merchandise store “Woodsepp”, the site also offered its own festival supermarket and “wooden food displays”. The Austrian National Championship Stihl Timbersports was held in the new Stihl area.
By the way: advance ticket sales for next year start on July 9 – the 2025 festival will take place from June 26 to 29.
