New graphics driver from Intel Arc Graphics 31.0.101.5444 beta (PDF) Significantly accelerates select games under Microsoft's DirectX 11 graphics API. Intel promises a 5 to 48 percent performance boost on Arc (“Alchemist”) graphics cards and Core Ultra series (“Meteor Lake”) CPUs. All manufacturer standards are implemented in Full HD resolution (“1080p”). Popular games like post-apocalyptic role-playing game Days Gone should also benefit.
In addition, there are the obligatory improvements and bug fixes that come with each new version. Since the new “Game On Graphics Driver”, as it is officially called, with build number 31.0.101.5444 is still listed as a pre-release version, it does not have WHQL certification.
Numerous bug fixes
Bug fixes include Diablo 4, which should now also run flawlessly on Core Ultra series CPUs with Intel Arc Graphics and Arc graphics cards based on the Alchemist architecture. Additional bug fixes inaccuracies in Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection and Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora.
