Although going to restaurants has become significantly more expensive, fancy calculators don’t want to do without “fun outside” entirely.
After all, it’s so much more than just eating: chowing down on delicacies with friends at a long table and toasting each other a glass or two of fine grape juice is a treat for body, mind and soul. Good food, a pleasant exchange of ideas, happy conversation, and the cultivated ambiance of a restaurant or inn create a sense of security, and a certain “feel” does not arise that is simply exchanged through social media.
After all, we need real spaces and real people. Fun costs and the question of who pays upfront should be clarified.
If the same friends always dine together, one person, then the other, takes the whole bill. However, the total is usually simply divided by the number of people eating.
However, some feel cheated if they have to pay exactly the same amount as the person next to the table, who consumed much more than they did. Even after the dessert, there is only a bitter aftertaste and that’s a shame!
