Journey into the city forest – Building and Construction Management GBG Graz GmbH

Together with city councilor Manfred Eber and head of the supervisory board, Ina Bergmann, the GBG invited representatives from the municipal and county council, the GBG supervisory board and the Graz municipal offices to take a trip to the forests of the city of Graz.

Mag Herner and the GBG Forestry team commented on the challenges in managing urban forests on Eustacchio grounds – using a predetermined route – and discussed the intense and sometimes challenging tasks using examples.

Through the Lustbühel district, we continued our way to Buchkogel, the largest nearby forest and a local recreation area owned by the GBG. In addition to the renovated viewing platform around St. On the way from St. Johann and Paul to Orthacker in the south of Buchkogel, many interesting ideas were presented and the connections explained.
