Marcel Sabitzer has been convincing at Manchester United so far. The Austrian also feels at home with the ‘Red Devils’.
However, the most cost-effective alternative could prove fatal for a firm commitment. According to the British newspaper “Express”, Manchester United is courting the services of Juventus star Adrien Rabiot. The Frenchman’s contract in Italy expires this summer.
In addition to the “Red Devils”, Liverpool FC is also interested in the midfielder. (Liverpool may sign Juventus >>>)
Engaging with Arnautovic at Milan?
The veteran midfielder can leave Turin for free in the summer, and his contract with the “old lady” expires.
That could get in the way of Marcel Sabitzer. The ÖFB Corps has repeatedly indicated that it is interested in a permanent move to Old Trafford. However, his de facto club, Bayern Munich, is said to be claiming a transfer fee of €20 million.
Should a permanent move to Manchester fail, Milan would already be setting themselves up (one of the best clubs in Serie A might sign Marcel Sabitzer >>>). He could also meet fellow national team member Marko Arnautović at the San Siro. This should be right before moving to Milan (Bologna farewell? Arnautovic before signing for the top club >>>).
