KTM Presents 2025 Motocross Series – CrossNews

With the 2025 KTM Motocross Series, KTM is bringing riders closer to their bikes

Following the completely redesigned 2023 KTM SX Series, the 2025 KTM SX and SX-F Series are now at the forefront in terms of racer bike connection, performance and handling – and one of the most popular models returns.

The 2025 KTM SX and SX-F series are designed to give riders more control than ever before and feature a number of innovations inherited directly from KTM Factory Riding, making these bikes the best race-ready line ever.

The innovations are most noticeable on the frame, which now features visible cutouts and changes in tube wall thickness around the front end, engine mounts and rear shock mounts. These changes are specifically designed to improve chassis flexibility and reduce weight by approximately 300 grams, while maintaining overall stability and improving cornering performance. A revised swingarm with milled slider chainring and renewed rear brake pedal complete the innovations found on the frame.

The 2025 KTM SX and SX-F models come standard with new Dunlop GEOMAX MX34 motocross tires, providing superior grip and control for optimal performance. It's made of a new composite structural material that improves cushioning and shock absorption, resulting in up to 30% longer life. New progressive cornering block technology improves traction, grip and dirt resistance.

At the rear, the WP XACT shock absorber benefits from modified deflection with renewed seals and smaller diameter deflector bolts. This setup was adopted directly from the KTM Factory Racing team and optimized to take advantage of weight savings and stiffness. The revision is rounded off at the rear by the new settings of the WP XACT AER fork, which allows for greater flexibility and less weight.

On the practical side, the 2025 KTM SX and SX-F range features new fuel tank panels made of double-composite plastic on the upper and lower sides, giving the bike a new, clean, distinctive style as well as better cooling. This is also helped by the new fuel tank cylinder, which protects the frame from wash wear and makes installing the tank easier. Ultimately, the 2025 models feature a revised intake flap and snorkel design. It is now one-piece, avoiding deformation due to the stronger and stiffer material.

The new graphic design takes the new design language of the fuel tank panels and highlights several small technical innovations in the 2025 lineup. All-orange bodywork, red and black graphics and a more durable black seat give the bikes a clean look and embodies a pure race-ready spirit.

The 2025 models will also offer the Off-Road Connect Unit, which is available as KTM PowerParts for the 2025 KTM SX and SX-F range. The CUO provides various functions and setup options via the KTMconnect app and also consists of two parts: the CUO located on the upper right fork between the lower and upper fork clamp and the GPS sensor located On the front wheel fender. A CUO-compatible front wheel fender is also available as KTM PowerParts.

Last but not least, the popular KTM 150 SX expands the range of motorcycle models equipped with two-stroke engines and is eagerly awaited. The 2025 KTM 150 SX is based on the KTM 125 SX, but impresses with significant component improvement. Designed specifically for racing, it has been constantly improved in terms of performance and offers higher torque and a better driving experience.

The 2025 KTM SX and SX-F models bring subtle but significant improvements to the race bikes, ensuring the wide range offers a motorcycle suitable for every rider and rider.
