Lask appoints Ralph Mohr as Technical Director

Take off in Austria, welcome to Linz: Ralph Mohr, 51, has become the new Technical Director and acts as a link between professionals, academics and youth.

Ralph Mohr, born in Linz, will promote athletes as technical director in the future. In this newly created position, the longtime Academy Director and former Sports Director of FK Austria Wien will act as a link between professionals, the academy and the youth. He will also manage AKA LASK Juniors OÖ.

For Mehr, who has his roots in neighboring Sankt Valentine, commitment means returning to his homeland. In the future, the 51-year-old football expert will focus more on the training and development areas of the traditional club Linz.

Ralph Mohr brings 27 years of experience in sports management positions to Linz, which he gained at FK Austria Wien as Junior Director, Academy and Amateur Coach, Academy Director, Technical Director or Sports Director. In addition, as the head of the first Austrian football academy in Holabrunn, he made a name for himself as a talent promoter and was a companion to well-known players such as David Alaba and Alexander Dragovic Or Peter Mishorl and Sasha Horvath. He also committed leaders in the sports field to “violet”, such as the current Austrian coach Manfred Schmid and ÖFBCoaches like Thomas Janschitz and Gunter Kressel.

“I am very happy with the trust LASK directors place in me around sporting director Radovan Vujanovic and I want to use my experience and expertise to help improve the structures that are already in place so that more self-made players in the future can play a role capable of mastering the move to become a professional,” says Mehr.
