LASK appears surprised by the search for a new defensive commander in Bulgaria.
Bulgarian journalist Metodi Shumanov announced on Twitter that there was a “final deal” between LASK and centre-back Omar Sakho, contracted to Peruvian Stara Zagora. Accordingly, the “athletes” will have to transfer about 300,000 euros to the 25-year-old from Ivory Coast.
Sakho joined only the current seventh place in the Bulgarian league last summer, and his involvement with Peru is his first in Europe. The 1.91-meter tall man was a former contractor with AS Tanda and ASEC Mimosas in his home country, and in September 2020 he moved to Qatar to Al Khuritiyat.
The right foot is used in central defense, but it can also be used in the six. In Beroe, Sacco only missed two matches, one of which was banned in red. His contract runs until June 2023.
