Honor has announced that the Magic V2 foldable smartphone will be launched in Europe on January 26, 2024. The company is yet to announce pricing or availability details, but the device is expected to be available in different configurations.
Honor Magic V2 specifications
The display uses a 6.43-inch 120Hz LTPO BOE OLED external display with a resolution of 2376 x 1060 pixels and a screen ratio of 20:9. It supports 3,840 Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, has also achieved TÜV Rheinland flicker-free certification and offers a peak brightness of up to 2,500 nits. The internal display is a 7.92-inch BOE OLED panel with a resolution of 2344 x 2156 pixels in a 9.8:9 format, as well as a 120Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the Honor Magic V2 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which has been overclocked to 3.36GHz. There's also 16GB of RAM and a choice of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of storage.
The Honor Magic V2 has a 16-megapixel camera on the external display and another 16-megapixel camera on the inside. The camera setup consists of a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 20MP telephoto lens with up to 40x zoom.
In addition, the device is equipped with a large 5000 mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging. On the software side, the Magic V2 runs MagicOS 7.2, which is based on Android 13.
Unfortunately, there is currently no information about a possible start in Austria.
