Amazon Prime Video has released the first trailer for the upcoming The Lord of the Rings series. The one minute teaser doesn’t reveal much. After all, the broadcast provider finally reveals the title of the series: “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” (Original: “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power”).
Both the series name and the video explain what the story is about: the creation of episodes of power and the problems that come with it, such as the rise of the dark lord Sauron. It will also highlight “the epic story of Nemenor and the final alliance between elves and humans,” as presenter and executive producers J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay explained in advance.
The clip itself was executed with unusual effects accompanied by an exciting soundtrack. You can basically see the liquid metal forging process. At the end, the title is finally displayed. Galadriel’s famous episode poem can also be heard in the original English-language trailer, but is no longer played by Cate Blanchett (52) in the new series, but by Morvid Clark (32) of Wales.
The series starts in early September 2022
The first episodes of “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” are scheduled to be available on Amazon Prime Video from September 2, 2022. The main cast consists of Robert Aramayo, Owen Arthur, Nazanin Boniadi, Tom Badge, Ismail Cruz Cordova, Emma Horvath and Markila Cavina Joseph Mole, Tero, and Sophia Numvit, Megan Richards, Dylan Smith, Charlie Vickers, and Danielle Wyman.
