BThe popular Irish folk band Baden played a big part in the whisky shop on Fasergas (lower) Street.
Almost a year and a half ago, Andreas and Johann Maringer turned their passion into a profession in the pedestrian zone of Baden at Wassergasse 16 and opened the Sideways Whisky Shop. Since then, more than 200 whiskies from all over the world, especially from Scotland, Ireland and the USA, can be discovered, bought and enjoyed there.
They recently graced the Wassergasse with a performance by the legendary Irish folk band Badner, Na Mahones ó Inis Beag, Mahones for short. Visitors were able to enjoy beautiful music, taste whiskeys and eat delicious little things, such as the delicious iris stew prepared by Wolfgang Ballun.
