Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Gets 5 New Drivers: Which Should They Be?

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Gets 5 New Drivers: Which Should They Be?

Mario, Luigi & Co. will soon welcome 5 more drivers in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe not only gave me eight new tracks with the recently released fourth wave DLC for the booster track arcade, but also one more driver – Birdo. But that’s not how it stays. As evidenced by the updated driver selection screen, a total of 5 more drivers will join the roster in the last two waves of DLC.

And Nintendo has already indicated which newcomers we can expect. It should be about the drivers who have already appeared in the Mario Kart part, that is, they will celebrate the return. And since some branches have met in the last thirty years, there are accordingly some potential candidates.

The MK8 Deluxe Circuit is not complete yet

But which of them would you like to see again? In our survey, we want to know exactly that from you. We’ve compiled a list of all the characters that starred in the Mario Kart version but don’t appear in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, including those in the mobile Mario Kart Tour spin-off.

you have it 5 votes in totalmatching the remaining five places in the ring.

As always, you’re of course welcome to tell us in the comments why you made your decision. Maybe relate to a character’s own racing experiences? Let’s be a part of it!

By the way, if you’re interested in participating in more surveys, here are some suggestions:

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was released shortly after the launch of the Nintendo Switch in April 2017 and has been one of the console’s most successful titles ever since. Even the base game has a wide range of tracks and drivers*, and with the graphical booster track arcade announced at the start of 2022, another 48 courses will be added – as well as 6 new playable characters.
