Martin’s “One of One” became “DOTS Palais” »Leadership

Four years ago, ‘One of One’, which belongs to the DOTS group of famous restaurateur Martin Ho, was opened at Seilerstätte 16 in Vienna and shortly thereafter was awarded the ‘Gourmet Concept of the Year 2018’. This site combined a restaurant in about 440 square meters and two levels, a concept store and two bars. And now the former “One of One” gets a new image and is now known as the “DOTS Palais,” this one has recently opened its doors and presents itself in a partially new form.

Tribute to Hermann Nietzsche

For example, the DOTS group has equipped the main hall of the palace with new seating furniture aimed at creating a new atmosphere when visiting the restaurant. In honor of artist Hermann Nietzsche, the hall not only houses an original artwork by the painter, but is also called “Hermann’s Salon” and is painted the same shade of yellow as the painting itself. In addition, the Well – an artwork known as “Time” by the American conceptual artist Mongo Thompson’s room adorns the walls of the drawing room. Other works of art by Maximilian Davis, Marcin Skins, Martin Grandz, Gottfried Hellenwyn and Julian Cole can also be found in the palace.

A new concept of cooking

DOTS Palais guests should also get their money’s worth in cooking. That’s why Demir Babali, Head Chef, comes up with new creations. The culinary artist has already “cooked” two Gault Millau tocks. Modern interpretations of Chinese cuisine are promising, such as spicy Hong Kong Shrimp, aromatic Sizzling Beef, or Wagyu Miyazaki.

The range of sparkling wine lovers has also been expanded. This is now available 17 varieties, including fine wines from Ruinart, Perrier-Jouët, Laurent-Perrier, Armand de Brignac, Dom Pérignon, Roederer and Bollinger. Sake repertoire can be considered quite sophisticated: a selection of premium Japanese sake from the menu from Sake Sake Victor Williams. The restaurant concept currently offers about 20 different types.

With the opening of the season, the watch store “One of One Concept Store” also opened as part of the establishment. Choose from rare watches and collectors’ models from Andersen Geneve, Blaken, Bell & Ross, Greubel Forsey, HYT Watches, Jacob & Co, Parmigiani, Pasquale Bruni, Roger Dubois, Urwerk and Zenith.
