World No. 139. Then he used the momentum and made the break at the start of the second round. But Lajovic made a save and immediately took the serve from Austria to zero. A period of setbacks lingered as all of the first four matches were breaks, with Misulich squandering a 2-1 chance to make it 3-1.
After that, the players found their serve again until it was 5: 4, when Misolic had to block a set piece and equalized 5: 5. The second set also went into a tie-break. This also hurt Styrian, who found three identical balls at 6:3 and used the second.
Misolic is doing well for Kitzbühel, with last year’s finalist taking pole position for a wildcard. The Generali Open starts on July 29.
