Starting at 1.30pm, SPEEDWEEK.com will show action from the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Find out how MotoGP stars Martin, Bagnaia, Marquez, Acosta, Espargaro and co performed over the 24 laps.
The Saturday afternoon sprint was hard to beat in terms of drama; Raul Fernandez (Trackhouse Aprilia), Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM) and world champion Pecco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo) all crashed in that order while in the lead.
Pole finisher Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia) took an emotional victory; His farewell to his home fans in Montmelo, near Barcelona, could not have been better.
While the sprint race lasted only twelve laps, drivers in the premier class have to complete 24 laps in the grand prix. Then tire management will play a much bigger role – there is hardly any other race track that kills tires like the Circuit de Catalunya.
Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia), Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) and Brad Binder (KTM) come from the front row, while Pedro Acosta (KTM), Fabio Di Giannantonio and Jorge Martin (Ducati) make up the second row. On the third row are Raul Fernandez (Aprilia), Alex Rins (Yamaha) and Jack Miller (KTM).
You can find out in detail how the race will go in Barcelona on the live ticker from SPEEDWEEK.com starting at 1.30pm.
