The multiple terraces of Westfield Shopping City Süd have once again become a magnet for music lovers this summer. With the free “Sound of Sunset” concert series, the shopping and entertainment destination has transformed into a vibrant open-air stage every Friday evening for the third year in a row, offering fantastic music evenings with live concerts by top Austrian artists for six weeks.
A new record was achieved with over 4,000 enthusiastic visitors.
On Friday, the popular concert series with pop singer NIDDL and opening band The Attic entered its grand finale. From July 19 to August 23, a total of twelve shows were performed on the multiple amphitheaters, creating a lively atmosphere.
From pop and rock to funk and soul, there was once again a varied programme for all age groups. The concert evenings were once again moderated by music producer Reinhardt Gabriel and co-curator Rosalija Gregoric.

SCS' free outdoor concert series has impressed over 4,000 people..
Over six weekends, 12 top acts presented unique musical evenings with free admission on the multiple terraces of Westfield Shopping City Süd – the crowning finale with pop singers NIDDL and The Attic.
“We are very pleased that our Sunset Sound concert series has received such a great response again this year. The mix of up-and-coming talent and established artists ensures an unforgettable musical experience and transforms the multiple terraces into a first-class music attraction,” says Zsolt Juhasz, Westfield City Centre South Shopping Centre Manager.
The best works for every taste
The music program of the “Sunset Sound” series once again offers something to suit all tastes. The legendary rock and roll band Andy Lee Lang and the Soulaccompanied by the rising newcomer I am.
The following weeks brought acts such as the five-piece band vienna madness and Miss Peter The stage shakes for singers and songwriters. Julian Le Play He charmed the crowd at half-time with his energetic songs. He was supported by Owner Stefanthe winner of Starmania 2022.
