Musifestl XL: A big festival with a good mood and a lot of music

On the main square in Grosswiekersdorf, the sounds of brass music filled the air as the Grosswiekersdorf-Rupperstal Brass Band invited people to their annual music festival. Visitors were in for a day of music, community and delicious food.

Großweikersdorf. Last weekend, the main square in Großweikersdorf was transformed into a stage for the famous Musifestl XL of the Großweikersdorf-Ruppersthal brass band. Head of the music club Manuel Huber I was happy with the number of visitors:

We are pleased that Musifestl XL has been so well received and that many visitors are coming to us. We want to revitalize the main square and also implement the experiences and observations of last year.

The association, which always shapes the cultural life of the region with major events, presented a varied programme. From traditional marches to modern arrangements, there was something to suit all tastes. The performances by the band “Young Winds” and the youth band “The Gold Bottles” particularly impressed the audience and impressively demonstrated how vibrant the brass music tradition of the region is. Steaks, sausages and refreshing drinks invited people to stay and contributed to creating a cozy and warm atmosphere.
