After this year’s disaster, MXoN Team USA is seen as a challenger at the 75th edition of the Motocross of the Nations. So it’s no surprise that the Americans are sending one of the strongest teams on the road.

At Red Bull, Eli Tomac will join forces with Chase Sexton and Justin Cooper to try to bring the Chamberlain Trophy back to the States. Since 2011 American fans have been waiting for their team to win the Motocross of the Nations again. A win at home will help the team forget the humiliation of 2018.

Choosing the 450 is pretty easy. Eli Tomac And Chase Sexton Lucas Oil has excelled so far in the Pro Motocross series this summer and will represent the team in the MXGP and Open classes. “Delighted to be selected for the Motocross of Nations”, Sexton said. “It’s been a dream of mine since watching Ricky Carmichael, Travis Pastrana, James Stewart and the rest of the Team USA riders. It’s a really cool race. I was at the Motocross of Nations in RedBud in 2018 and got to see it. Looking forward to driving it now. Growing up two hours away from RedBud, this will be special to me because it’s my own breed. I’m really looking forward to it and my goal is to compete there and win.
