Netflix Stock Closes Strong: The hit Netflix series ‘Squid Game’ comes as a reality show | 06/15/22

“Squid Game” from South Korea is being implemented as a reality show on the streaming service Netflix.

As in the action series, 456 participants will compete in different games, Netflix announced Tuesday in the first trailer for “Squid Game: The Challenge.” Accordingly, it is a prize money of 4.56 Million US Dollars. According to Netflix, there has never been a show with more participants or higher prize money.

So interested parties from all over the world who speak English can apply online to participate with immediate effect. Filming is expected to take place in early 2023. However, the presentation of the game should not be as risky as the games in the series. “The stakes are high, but the worst fate in this game is to go home empty-handed,” the selection page read.

In the Squid game series, hundreds of indebted people compete in children’s games to win prizes worth millions of dollars. The losers are instantly killed in the terrible competition. The series also led to criticism in this country: for example, the series children played in a daycare and after-school care center. Netflix has already announced a second season.

Netflix shares ended trading on the Nasdaq down 7.5 percent to $179.90.
