Economics professor Robert Sausgruber (54) was elected new dean by the University of Economics (WU) University Council on Monday. Effective October 1, 2023, he will succeed Edeltraud Hanappi-Egger, who has not run for a new term after two terms in office. Sausgruber was born in Kufstein on November 30, 1968 and studied at the University of Innsbruck.
