The new branch of the Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) celebrated its opening on an area of approximately 285 square meters on Hauptstrasse 89 in Hainfeld. In the future, the new location, which is designed using sustainable energy, will not only offer an exciting new store design, but also numerous new offers in the areas of care, nutrition and health. These are complemented by professional advice from specially trained staff to make the future shopping experience in the new branch unforgettable.
“As one of the largest drugstores in Austria, we are proud to now be able to operate our new branch in Heinfeld with an innovative design for our customers,” said BIBA Managing Directors Markus Geyer and Andreas Persegl in unison on the occasion of World Pharmacy Day.
The BIPA branch in Hainfeld offers a large area for exciting shopping. The range includes more than 15,000 products from international brands and successful BIPA brands. There is a comprehensive range of perfumes, cosmetics, care products, home accessories and household products. The new branch also offers an expanded range of nutritional supplements, fitness products, wound care products and an expanded facial care range.
In addition, the BIPA Institute branch, which is featured in the new store design, features a modern store design and invites you to discover it. According to BIPA, soft colors, natural materials and warm lighting create “ideal conditions for comfortable shopping.”
Service and Offers
“The whole team is looking forward to welcoming our customers to the newest branch of the BIBA Institute in Austria,” says Evelyn Zwisselbauer, store manager.
In addition to a wide range of products, customers can expect personal and professional customer service from well-trained staff. In addition, customers are offered the BIPA textile cleaning service and the CEWE photocopying station. As a partner of the Jö Bonus Club, BIPA offers regular customers a program with attractive offers and numerous benefits.
In any case, loyalty is rewarded at BIPA: every euro spent with the Jö Card can be individually redeemed at any time for exclusive rewards.
Safety and Diversity in the Workplace
The BIPA operates a total of 120 branches in Lower Austria, creating around 920 jobs, 27 of which are for trainees. In addition to diverse activities with a high level of personal responsibility, the BIPA offers all its employees a secure job with high-quality training and further education opportunities – both for part-time and marginal workers as well as for people changing careers and returning to work.
BIPA has already been voted one of the best employers in Austria several times by the independent Great Place to Work Institute and has already received the special award as “Best Employer for Trainees” twice.
BIPA's quality as an employer was also proven in 2020 by the renewal of the berufundfamilie government quality mark certificate. The certificate, awarded by the Ministry of Family Affairs every three years, certifies that BIPA has a family-friendly working environment for all employees.
The Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) also offers comprehensive measures to balance work and family through summer holiday camps and employee participation in vacations. Furthermore, diversity and inclusion are part of everyday life at the Institute of Public Administration: we welcome all employees – regardless of origin, gender, age, sexual orientation, disability or religion.
“We take our responsibility as an employer very seriously. On the one hand, this means that we offer great training programmes for our employees. On the other hand, it is very important to us that they have the opportunity to pursue a career in the company. Internal advancement – whether into a managerial or specialist career – is a reality for us,” say Geier and Perseggel.
Sustainability is very important.
The Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) also attaches great importance to energy efficiency and the continuous promotion of renewable and climate-friendly energy sources. BIPA obtains its green electricity exclusively from Austrian hydropower.
In the Heinfeld branch – as in all new buildings and renovations – additional measures are also used to increase energy efficiency. These include, among other things, LED lighting and heat pumps for air conditioning and heating. This eliminates the use of fossil fuels, and lighting requires around 50 percent less electricity, thus ensuring a significant reduction in CO2 emissions.
