According to information from Kyiv, a third round of peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine is scheduled for next Monday only.
The head of the Ukrainian delegation, David Arakhamija, wrote this on Facebook on Saturday evening. He did not give details. Subsequently, the Russian foreign policy expert Leonid Slutsky said on state television: “The third round can already take place in the next few days. It is possible on Monday, March 7.”
The third round of peace talks between Russia and Ukraine on Monday
The two sides last met on Thursday in western Belarus and agreed on humanitarian corridors in their second round. They should help people leave the besieged towns and villages. But on Saturday, evacuations from the Ukrainian port city of Mariupol failed. Both sides accused each other of violating the ceasefire agreement. Moscow announced this evening that it would continue the attacks on Mariupol and the city of Volnovakha.
