Away from the press, the famous academic illustrator Jolanda Richter and her husband, the art dealer and artist manager Stefan Wolf, presented a newly published children’s book about Christmas: ‘Christmas in Wiesenwald – The Festive Party’.
For the second time, Jolanda Richter has contributed countless watercolors to 80 pages of her first successful children’s book, “Wiesenwald – The Adventure Rescue of the Queen Bee.” Sixty watercolors, which she worked on intensively for more than half a year, form a travelogue about famous characters from the meadow forest.
A book for the whole family
The artist couple have once again created a warm and humorous children’s art book, whose charming images are so inviting you’ll want to live in them. The first pages have already awakened warm and exciting Christmas anticipation. This time the new adventure revolves around music. They explain that “for artists, music represents all forms of art that are not only impressive in terms of craftsmanship, but above all come from the heart to touch hearts.”
Like its predecessor, the book is intended not only for children, but for the whole family – from young to old. The book and an exhibition of original watercolors will be on display on Tuesday, October 24, at 7pm at Galerie 10, Getreidemarkt 10 in the 1st district of Vienna.
