New World: Aeternum was announced for consoles just a few days ago, and things are already getting underway with the closed beta quickly approaching.
New World: Aeternum is coming to consoles on October 15 of this year. But there's still a lot to do beforehand, including taking a closer look at the online multiplayer features. This is exactly what should happen in July, with your tireless help.
From July 11 at 6:00 PM to July 17 at 6:00 PM, there will be a closed beta for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series Register for the trial version It is now possible on the official website of the New World. All you need is an Amazon account and of course a little luck. The beta itself is confidential, which means you're not allowed to comment on it or post in-game material of any kind.
So that you don't waste any time, the demo client will be available for download two days early, starting July 9 at 6:00 PM EST.
The console version is specially adapted for these platforms, but – as mentioned – it has all the features of the PC version. Amazon Games will also enable and support cross-platform play. On consoles, aim lock, aim assist, virtual cursor, console navigation, and accessibility should help.
In addition, New World: Aeternum also offers a lot of new content that PC players will also have access to. There's the first large-scale PvP zone, a new challenging 10-player raid, end-game solo trials, improved leveling, new character models, an improved dialogue system, and more.
