New Zealanders vaccinated themselves against coronavirus ten times in one day

New Zealanders vaccinated themselves against coronavirus ten times in one day

A man in New Zealand is said to have been vaccinated against the coronavirus up to ten times in just one day for money.

On Saturday, the Stuff news portal reported that others likely paid for the man. It was not initially known exactly where this fraud occurred and how it was discovered. In New Zealand, those wishing to be vaccinated do not have to identify themselves.

The Ministry of Health expressed its concern and launched an investigation. Doctors, according to Staff, described the behavior of both the man and those who paid him for the vaccination as “dangerous, stupid and selfish.” Vaccination has been said to be important precisely because of the circulating delta variant of the virus.

89 per cent of New Zealanders have been vaccinated

One doctor added that on the first day after the vaccination, the man should not be feeling well. The Ministry of Health has advised all people who have received more than recommended doses to seek medical advice as soon as possible.

Many New Zealand shops and establishments require proof of full vaccination to enter. About 89 percent of the New Zealand population is fully vaccinated. With a population of 5 million, there have been about 12,500 cases and 46 deaths since the pandemic began.
