Black Wings Linz celebrated a 3-1 away win at HC Innsbruck in the eighth round of the ICE Wind2day Hockey League.
In the initial phase, the Linzers team focuses on safe disc control. In return, the Tyroleans launched counterattacks. One of these separations also leads to the house moving forward.
Corey McCain capitalizes on a perfect cross from HCI center Ryan Valentini with a long-range shot into the far left corner to take the lead (7th). As a result, several penalties, mostly from Linz, determine what happens on the ice.

However, Sean St. Amant was able to equalize his first goal of the current ICE season (15th) to take a 1-1 lead into the first half.
Offensive weakness in Tyrolean power plays
As a result, further indiscipline resulted in several penalties being imposed on Lenz. However, the Sharks once again emphasized their poor power play and rarely put the Linzers in trouble.
However, with some goal sightings, the Black Wings also opened up the rest of the game in the middle third with nothing to count.
Feldner paves the way for Linz to win away from home
The Tyrol team made the third period more difficult with three penalty kicks in ten minutes. Linz can't take advantage of this numerical superiority, but they can still celebrate in the end.
Nico Feldner scores the first goal after a long pass from defender Niklas Forschel (43). As a result, Corey McCain and Patrick Grasso narrowly missed the equalizer with their senior players in the final stage.
In the end, Brendan Collins secured a 3-1 away win for Linz without any defensive resistance from distance before the final minute.
Thus, the Stahlstadters now move up to eighth place in the table with nine points. Immediately afterwards, HC Innsbruck found themselves in ninth place with eight points and their third defeat of the season in a row.
