Nintendo has somewhat surprisingly expanded the range of games on Switch Online, and now they're making another true classic from the Game Boy Advance era available on the current console.
Almost out of nowhere, Nintendo is bringing a true classic gem to Switch Online this week. Subscribers can pick up the Game Boy Advance title F-Zero: Speed Limit there.
Since the early 2000s, the futuristic F-Zero racing series has somewhat faded into the background, but the brand has been a big number. Most recently, SNES title F-Zero 99 was made available as an online multiplayer battle royale game for Switch Online last year.
On Friday, March 29, 2024, F-Zero: Speed Limit will be available on Nintendo's online service. At the time, it was the third main entry in the series, which was released in 2001 as a launch title for the Game Boy Advance. Here you also get the high-speed racing gameplay typical of the series, with the game taking place thematically 25 years after the previous F-Zero games.
On Switch Online, the original F-Zero was previously made available as part of the SNES Collection in 2019 and F-Zero
