Mario Day is coming again in a few days – and Nintendo is already celebrating it in a special way: if you're interested, you can try Switch Online for free for 14 days.
If you don't have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription, you can now take a closer look at Nintendo's online service safely and without any financial investment. On the occasion of the upcoming Mario Day on March 10, the Japanese have now started a special campaign and are offering you a free trial.
Thanks to this trial, if you're interested, you can now try Nintendo Switch Online for 14 days for free. All the benefits of the service are then included, namely the free classic games that are regularly added as part of the subscription and also provide access to NES or SNES titles from earlier days, as well as online play on newer Switch titles.
The free trial includes the basic subscription, but not the high-end expansion pack, which also offers N64 games and more. The upcoming Mario Day promotion runs through March 17, 2024; Until then, you can participate in the 14-day free trial You can claim this yourself via the MyNintendo page. You must then redeem the code via the eShop on Switch or via desktop by March 20.
More announcements are also expected at Mario Day, scheduled for March 10. A Nintendo insider recently suggested that there will be at least two announcements about upcoming Mario-related games.
