In the Austrian Brand Value 2024 study conducted by the European Brand Institute (EBI), NOVOMATIC ranks second among the country's most valuable brand companies.

By rising to third place in the sustainable brands ranking, the International Gaming Technology Group confirms its commitment to sustainability.

For the 21st time, the European Brand Institute has presented Austria’s most valuable and sustainable brand companies. The international gaming technology group with more than 25,300 employees worldwide and activities in over 120 countries has achieved top positions in both the EBI brand value and sustainable brand rankings.

With an increase in brand value of +8.7% to €3.745 billion, NOVOMATIC occupies an excellent second place in the Brand Value Study and can also record the largest increase in value in one year among the top 10 companies in the country. Only Red Bull is ahead of the Lower Austrian world champion this year.

In addition to the high level of innovation, the decisive factors for assessing the value of the brand were the path of international expansion, sales growth and overall corporate responsibility and ESG programme, which was confirmed by international ESG rating agencies. Against this background, NOVOMATIC also managed to impress in the sustainable brands ranking, where the company ranked third for the first time. The placement emphasizes NOVOMATIC's contribution to sustainable economic development in Austria.

“The renewed first place in the Brand Value Ranking for 2024 is a confirmation of the long-term success of our global brand strategy, through which we have been able to sustainably strengthen our leading position in international markets. Climbing to third place in the Sustainable Brand Ranking is a pleasure.” In particular it shows that “with our comprehensive commitment to ESG, we are also setting new standards in the field of social and environmental responsibility,” emphasizes NOVOMATIC Board Member MAG Stefan Kren.

The Austrian Brand Value Study, which annually identifies the domestic brands of companies with more than 45% Austrian ownership based on the “TOP500 trend of companies with the highest sales in Austria”, evaluated a total of 180 Austrian brand companies from 16 industries in 2024. The brand value is determined according to the international standards ISO 10668 and ISO 2067.

The top rankings in the Austrian Brand Value Study and Sustainable Brand Ranking demonstrate NOVOMATIC's position as one of Austria's leading brand companies, meaning the gaming technology group is once again sending a strong signal for sustainable business.
