ABTENAU. The Meissnitz band has been giving a special touch to Advent in Tennengau from ten years ago:

“We offer handcrafted dialect music, along with traditional folk songs, in an acoustic instrument – ​​for a somewhat different musical coming of age,” says conductor Christian Messnitzer-Gesinger.

Abtenauer’s personal concert experience is now a highlight of Meissnitz’s annual calendar. In addition to well-known and new songs from the “Abtenauer MundARTband”, the “Gsenger Trombone Band” by the four brothers Hans, Matthews, Thomas and August Gesinger, Marianne Brandauer, sister of Christian Messnitzer-Gsinger, with her dog, and Marcus Burgschweiger of Denten will be there.

Handmade Munnar Birthday in Arlerhof

For the first time this year, the Arlerhof will be exhibited by the local history museum.

“In addition to the eight dates at Abtenau, we play at Castle Gulling (December 16), at Samerstall in Niedernsill (December 12), but also in Styria and Tyrol,” the band says.
