The tenth anniversary of the founding of the band “Advent M. Geeberg” in Mesnitz. Consider the Arlerhof local history museum.
ABTENAU. The Meissnitz band has been giving a special touch to Advent in Tennengau from ten years ago:
“We offer handcrafted dialect music, along with traditional folk songs, in an acoustic instrument – for a somewhat different musical coming of age,” says conductor Christian Messnitzer-Gesinger.
Abtenauer’s personal concert experience is now a highlight of Meissnitz’s annual calendar. In addition to well-known and new songs from the “Abtenauer MundARTband”, the “Gsenger Trombone Band” by the four brothers Hans, Matthews, Thomas and August Gesinger, Marianne Brandauer, sister of Christian Messnitzer-Gsinger, with her dog, and Marcus Burgschweiger of Denten will be there.
Handmade Munnar Birthday in Arlerhof
For the first time this year, the Arlerhof will be exhibited by the local history museum.
“In addition to the eight dates at Abtenau, we play at Castle Gulling (December 16), at Samerstall in Niedernsill (December 12), but also in Styria and Tyrol,” the band says.
In addition to the eight house concerts in Abtenau, other dates are planned in Salzburg at Gulling Castle (Republic of France on December 16), at Samerstall in Niedernsill (Saturday, December 12) but also in Styria and Tyrol. With 14 concerts in Advent and a new CD in the luggage, the Salzburg MundARTband recalls past successes.
Concert series tickets “Advent im Gebirg” are already available from Ö-Ticket and their outlets such as Raiffeisenbank, Libro, Saturn, Media Markt, Volksbank, Sparkasse, etc. throughout Austria. The cheapest tickets are available via the homepage of the Meissnitzer Band Under “Dates” – click directly on the event date and on “Purchase tickets” Christian Messnitzer provides information.
