At OpenAI, the developer of ChatGPT, company president Sam Altman has regained his former power nearly four months after being briefly fired. Altman was reappointed to the board on Friday (local time), setting the AI software developer's strategy. He was fired by previous board members in November – but returned to senior management a few days later following employee protests.
