“I am happy with the achievements and every medal for our athletes. We have seen in some competitions that everything always has to fit together in such big events on Day X. I was especially pleased that the Freestyle/Snowboard section was able to win the medal table.”

Roswitha Stadlober. President of the ÖSV

“We can be quite satisfied with the number of medals. Of course it hurts because we didn’t win a gold medal. We were close, maybe a little bit of luck here and there was lost, but the team nonetheless presented itself very well.”

“Unfortunately, it didn’t work as well as we had envisioned it. We didn’t match the conditions and the ski jumping facility itself 100%. We have to take a hard look at that and do better in the future.”

“The overall balance is very positive, a very impressive six gold medals. Of course you can hope for that in advance, but you can’t expect such a result. Expectations were more than met, the athletes handled the pressure well. Compared to the last World Cup, we managed to improve though. Although we had one less competition. After the initial difficulties with the wind, it turned out to be a really good World Cup.”
