Technology is part of hiking, biking, and train travel, but so is a beach chair and mountain hut. But the bags and backpacks of the c’t-uplink team are filled differently: Liane Dubowy, for example, has her Steam Deck console and e-book reader with her on the train, for Jörg Wirtgen, the handy Bluetooth foldable keyboard is a must. Achim Barczok is one of the few who still takes a real camera system with him on his travels.

Practical holiday applications are just as important: a live thunderstorm map or good photo management, for example. You should also back up newly taken photos while on vacation: Jörg Wirtgen uses Adobe’s cloud for this, and Keywan Tonekaboni splits into his Nextcloud.
Also present: Achim Barczuk, Lianne Dupuy, Kiwan Tonikapone, Jörg Wertgen
