In the quarterfinals she finally managed to hold off Kosovo qualifier Arlinda Rušeta (WTA 857) after 1:3 in the third set with 4: 6, 7:5 and 6:3. In the fight for a place in the final, Paszek challenges 21-year-old Lithuanian Claudia Poppeliti (WTA 684) in the second match after 11:30 am CET on Saturday. A return to the world's top 300 is getting closer and closer for the Dornbirn native thanks to her successful performances on the island. In the doubles competition, Paszek and American Madison Sage were eliminated after last week's success after winning at the start of the quarter-finals – by the narrowest margin of 2:6, 6:0, 9:11 over the third-placed player.
