Microsoft announced this time, and Sony is now following suit. All PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers can get three games for free in June – and we’ll tell you which one!
While Microsoft is once again allowing two lesser-known titles to be released for free in June via Xbox Games with Gold, Sony is, as in the past few months, once again churning out somewhat heavier artillery with PlayStation Plus Essential. Anyone who subscribes to the basic level of Sony’s online service can once again look forward to three titles that are also better known.
Matching the upcoming NBA Finals, you can look forward to the current version of NBA 2K23 for the hit 2K basketball sports series on PS4 and PS5. The franchise has been a benchmark of the genre for many years and is one of the best sports games out there. If you missed it, now you can catch up – including NBA and WNBA rosters, historical teams, MyCareer mode, MyTeam, and more.
Also a well known title is Game #2, Jurassic World Evolution 2. Here you can build your own dinosaur park. It is a sequel to the management sim Frontier, which was originally released in 2018. The sequel, on the other hand, has a number of new features, four game modes, more number of prehistoric dinosaurs and a narrative set specifically based on the events in The movie “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”.
This June, the PlayStation trio completes Trek to Yomi, an action adventure that follows Hiroki as he falls against the forces of evil. Then he returns to fulfill his promise to protect the world from those same forces.
All three games are available starting June 6 in the new week and are permanently redeemable until July 3. Until then, you still have a chance to secure the free games from the May lineup.
