About 24 hours later, Prince Harry left Great Britain again. At least that's what it seems. The 39-year-old arrived at London's Heathrow Airport in the afternoon.
LONDON – A day after visiting his father, King Charles III, who was suffering from cancer. Prince Harry is reportedly back in America. As several British media outlets regularly reported, the 39-year-old arrived at London's Heathrow Airport in the afternoon – less than 24 hours after he arrived in Great Britain.
Earlier in the day, he reportedly met his father for a 45-minute conversation. Harry flew to London immediately after the palace informed the public of the 75-year-old's cancer diagnosis on Monday.
Charles waits for the helicopters to meet Harry
According to the tabloid “The Sun”, Charles had specially serviced his helicopter to visit his son, who had traveled from California. The British media saw the meeting as a positive sign of reconciliation between the feuding royal families. Charles and Queen Camilla were seen in good spirits in the back seat of a car. They reportedly flew to their country estate in Sandringham, East England, by helicopter. So a meeting between Harry and his older brother Prince William, 41, is not planned.
Harry and his wife Meghan (42) have left the royal family and live in the US state of California with their children Archie (4) and Lilybet (2). The publication of personal details in Harry's biography is said to have contributed to the rift with the royal family. dpa
