Prince Harry returned to America immediately after his father Charles’ coronation. This was reported by the British news agency PA, citing an airline employee. The 38-year-old landed in Los Angeles yesterday. One reason for the quick return: Charles III. Crowned King in London, Harry and Meghan’s son Archie Mountbatten-Windsor celebrated his fourth birthday yesterday.
Meghan stayed in California with their children Archie and Lilibet during the coronation. Harry attended the coronation at Westminster Abbey. However, it is questionable whether his short visit to his old homeland will significantly improve relations. As expected, he was not there when the royal family appeared on the palace balcony and waved to fans.
Harry resigned from royal duties several years ago and moved to America with Meghan. At the coronation, the fifth in line to the throne sat in the third row, Jack Brooksbank, husband of her cousin Princess Eugenie, and 86-year-old Princess Alexandra, cousin of her grandmother Queen Elizabeth II.
