In this episode, Petra Hartlieb talks to Barbara Kadlitz about her new novel “Schattenkuehle”. It is partly a historical novel about Josef Schauvel, the “savior of the Vienna Woods”, and partly about Josef Schauvel of the present day who, contrary to his namesake, would rather build an office building in the Vienna Woods with a small, “patschertes” in which he wants to prevent a protest camp.
Before Barbara Kadlitz reads an excerpt from her novel at the end of the program, you will hear two book recommendations from the FALTER editorial team.
