Since July, importer of wines and spirits Eggers and Franke Austria has been distributing the international drink Spritz in five varieties “Bitter Orange”, “Hugo”, “Pink Grapefruit”, “Secco Bianco” and “Secco Rosato”. The latest addition to the company’s home aims to reconcile Italian family traditions with high-quality ingredients.

Patrick Patnina, Managing Director of Eggers and Franke Austria, is pleased to expand the product range: “With Sprizzerò, we are pleased to expand our range of colorful appetizers with original, ready-to-drink products thus strengthening our focus on Italophile.” Sprizzerò by De Martin should not only be considered an aperitif in summer, but can be eaten all year round.

Family business is the cornerstone of success

Eduardo de Martin returned to his home village from abroad in 1934. He had his own “Spritz” idea with him. Together with his sister, the Italian created his own recipe for this aperitif of white wine and herbs. 70 years later, his grandson Paulo de Martin is reviving the family recipe according to his ideas as an aperitif in a can. In addition to the original ‘Bitter Orange’ range, Sprizzerò De Martin is now available in four other variants.

The product is made from Italian white wine, various herbs and completely without additives. Thanks to the format of the canister, the drink can also be taken on the go. De Martin’s Sprizzerò is now available from selected Austrian wholesalers and specialist retailers.
