It was already known that the Realme 11 series will be released next month and now we have the official launch date. May 10th is here, just a day after Xiaomi unveiled the Poco F5 and Poco F5 Pro. Realme confirmed the date via Chinese social media platform Weibo. This means that the new Realme phones will be launched for the first time in China before going on a world tour later this year.
Realme 11 5G has now also been certified by the Chinese authority 3C, which has confirmed its 33W charging speed. The device certified with model code RMX3751 supports VOOC 4.0 chargers with a voltage of 11V at 3A, which also fits different Realme 10 variants.
Realme 11 Pro sticks to a curved edge display
In addition to the entry-level model, Realme 11 Pro and Pro + should also be on the stage. In addition to significantly higher loading speeds, screens with curved sides are a must-have on board. Shu Qi ChaseVP at Realme, shared a photo of the Pro version alongside the GT Neo5 and GT Neo5 SE, which shows exactly this curved screen.
The curved sides of an AMOLED display are nothing new to the series — last year’s Realme 10 Pro and 10 Pro+ both had curved screens. The diagonal is also said to remain at 6.7 inches and the refresh rate at 120Hz, just like last year. In addition, the chipset is already known – Realme 11 Pro and Pro + will be powered by the new yet to be announced Dimensity 7000 processors with 2.6GHz main cores. Finally, the Plus version will get a powerful 200MP main camera.
