Recall Bugatti (USA): Millions of Speedsters fitted with faulty wheels

Do you live in the US? Do you own a 3.8 million euro Bugatti Chiron Super Sport that can go 440 km/h? Was it made on March 10, 2023? By then you should keep the top speed key in your pocket. Because, “For one vehicle, it was determined during final product verification that the Chiron Sport Rims “BPS Lightweight Wheel” were configured and fitted to the Chiron Super Sport. The Chiron Sport rim type “BPS Lightweight Wheel” Chiron Super Sport is not suitable for verification.”

Precautionary measure

The affected customer will be contacted and will receive a free replacement set of Chiron Super Sport homologated wheels, brand new tyres, valves and sensors. The replacement rims will be returned to Bugatti to ensure they cannot be fitted to a Chiron Super Sport model for reuse or resale. The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has recall case number 23V-388.
