Regional League South/South-East – Guntramsdorf captain joins Leopoldsdorf

Before the start of the season, Leopoldsdorf was aiming to occupy the top third of the table. “This goal has become unattainable,” says sporting director Roman Schloegl. Coach Peter Kautzner had many failures during the first half of the season. Before the winter break, Thomas Holzinger announced the end of his career (as reported by NÖN). Now striker Seyid Ekinci and substitute goalkeeper Dominique Bressel called a time-out.

Bronhofer returns to the regional league

The club’s reaction was. When searching for a central striker, the club’s management found what they were looking for in Guntramsdorf. Captain Daniel Brunhofer, who played for the Whites in the regional league for two years and last played in the top flight after relegation, will now play for Leopoldsdorf. Marcel Hreibernik will continue to wear the captain’s stripe at SCL. “Nothing will change,” Schloegel emphasized.

Multi-level Pegac is also coming

The second new attacking player is Dominik Hentschel. It came from his league rival Maria Lanzendorf. Another kicker from Guntramsdorf was brought in for defence: Michael Pejak. Central defence, outside defense or in the sixth position – Bijak can be used anywhere. Kevin Gebhardt was also signed from ATSV Deutsch Wagram to replace backup goalkeeper Bressel.

The sporting director commented on the rumors about a possible change in the coaching position as follows: “Peter Kautzner still has our full confidence.”
