Polish video game developer CI Games recently announced in its latest management report that the sequel to Lords of the Fallen 2 will be released next year. The company also announced that Unreal Engine 5 will be the core engine for its game brands, which are currently in development.

In its management report, CI Games explains its further approach to Lords of the Fallen 2. It literally says: “Lords of the Fallen: The sequel to this game has been developed by in-house studio Hexworks since 2019. Our studio has over 60 in-house developers working closely together. With third-party developers in various disciplines to develop the game […] We plan to launch the game’s global marketing campaign in the third quarter of 2022. Lords of the Fallen 2 is scheduled to be released in 2023 as a full-priced game for the new generation of consoles and PCs. “

The management report also reveals that Lords of the Fallen 2 It is CI Games’ largest project to date and should build on the growing popularity of the genre worldwide (Elden Ring). The game is scheduled to be released on PC and new generation consoles by 2023. This should mean that last generation consoles (PS4 and Xbox One) will be excluded from this title.
