After banning mention of GTA 6 on their YouTube videos, Rockstar Games has now taken it one step further and banned it on Twitch as well. However, there does not appear to be any official explanation for this action on the part of Rockstar Games. Read more about this below.
GTA is one of the biggest names in the history of computer games and it can be said that GTA 6 is one of the most anticipated games in development at the moment. However, it seems that the previous GTA 5 is still very popular and Rockstar offers decent returns, so that one can continue working on the subsequent title without pressure almost ten years after the original publication. However, the community is hungry for new information about GTA 6 and getting into every little thing, so Rockstar Games had to engage with it in the meantime.

In the internal Twitch channel, statements are now being made about the mention of GTA 6
Checked before being posted. Whether it includes GTA 6 or GTA VI seems irrelevant and auto moderation is not activated in either case. Rockstar Games has yet to comment on this or explain why they are desperately trying to prevent GTA 6 from being mentioned, but it seems like it’s a way, not a bug.
Previously, the developers had already removed GTA 6 from the comments section on Youtube and now it seems that they are applying this policy to other ports as well. The developers’ approach is understandable and should also be understood that a detailed discussion prior to actual deployment is not desirable. However, the question is whether the procedure is correct, because after all players seem to have a serious anticipation for the title and want to share information about the game. Developers can also use this for their own benefit rather than shutting down all communication around the game.
