Brussels – A number of MPs called on Friday for an internal investigation following the revelation of Russian propaganda and influence operations targeting the European Parliament in particular. The leader of the centrist liberal Renew Europe group, Frenchwoman Valérie Heyer, demanded in a letter to Parliament Speaker Roberta Mizzola that an “immediate and transparent” investigation should be conducted in cooperation with the national authorities.
