The Heimatwerk has found a new performer for “Maria” to sing Christmas this year: Upper Austria-born Eva Maria Sheinwald will take on the role.
Born in Lengau (Upper Austria), Eva Maria Schinwald completed her Masters in Singing with distinction at Mozarteum Salzburg. She completed international master’s classes with Horiana Branisteanu, Edda Moser, Helena Lazarska, Margreet Honig, Gerhard Kahry and Wolfgang Holzmair.
The Sopranos participated in the Salzburg Festival
She repeatedly took concert tours of the sopranos to Germany, to the Hugo Wolf Festival in Slovenia and to London, where she sang St. In addition, she has participated in several scenic productions for the Salzburg State Theater and the Salzburg Festival.
Simone Peßensteiner-Vierlinger . will be replaced
Eva Maria Schinwald debuted in Salzburg Advent Singing in 2014 as “Maria” in the production of “Der Sterngucker”. In 2017, she delighted the audience in the movie “The Blind Shepherd” as an angel, and now she will replace Simone Peßenteiner-Vierlinger as “Maria”.
Soprano Simone Bicentenaire Verlinger has not been invited to play the role for the first time in 13 years because she has not been vaccinated against the coronavirus. And many doctors advised against it because of her pregnancy. Heimatwerk justified the action, among other things, by protecting other actors.
