On Friday, November 24, from 2pm to 7pm, and on Saturday, November 25, from 8am to 2pm, the doors of the “Feel free” store will be open at FuZo14 and Haus Hoher Markt in Waidhofen an der Ybbs. This is a business that does not require money. The project was started by Bettina Buder from Widhoven. It is carried out in cooperation with the fourth-grade practice company at the Waidhofen Business and Music High School under the leadership of teachers Karina Bock and Sebastian Riessl as well as with the active support of Herta Friesner and the environmental advisor Judith Riegler.
The Feel Free store works in such a way that you can bring in items that you no longer need, but that are still working and in new or usable condition. This ranges from books to clothing and accessories such as scarves, bags, eyeglasses and jewelry, to toys, sporting goods, shoes, dishes and unused household items such as irons or coffee machines. However, only items that you can carry yourself without outside assistance may be brought. For items where this does not apply, there is a ‘bulletin board’.
Items will be accepted from Tuesday, November 21 to Thursday, November 23 from 9am-11am and 4pm-7pm at Haus Hoher Markt. During Feel Free store hours, you can enjoy delicious treats from WMMS Business students and listen to the live sounds of WMMS Middle School of Music students.
