The coming-of-age sci-fi series Touch Me from Barry L. Levy (“Vantage Point”) debuts worldwide today, Friday, July 12, 2024, on the Apple TV+ streaming service.
“I” is about a twelve-year-old boy named Ben who is in the middle of middle school (with bullies, crushes, and school dances!) as he adjusts to a new blended family and realizes he has superpowers.
During the ten-episode first season, Ben embarks on a journey of self-discovery about what it really means to have superpowers. He finds an ally in his sister Max who helps him harness these powers and uncover the secrets behind his community's mysteries and tragedies. At the same time, he tries to come to terms with what it means to be Ben…
The cast includes Lucien-Rever Chauhan (“Encounter”) as Ben Vasani, Abigail Beniowski (“Arrival”) as Max Davis, Dilshad Vadsaria as Elizabeth Vasani, Amanda Reid (“Miss Juneteenth”) as Carter Kennedy and Jesse Yates (“Pulse”) as Morgan. Confirmed guest stars so far include Kyle Howard (“Orange County”) as Phil Davis and Sheriff Atkins (NCIS: Hawai‘i) as Darren Kennedy.
“Me” is an Apple Original from Barry L. Levy, who also serves as showrunner, executive producer and series writer alongside Michael Dowse, Amy Welsh-Hanning and Eben Russell. Aaron Caro is executive producer. Dowse also directed all ten episodes.
Finally, here is the promo for the new series “I”:
