Shiffrin on the return of Hirscher and Vonn: “I'm excited”

Mikaela Shiffrin doesn't know when she will end her career yet. When the time comes, it will be forever. “I want a family then,” the American star said on Thursday at Atomic Media Day in Salzburg. But she will be even more “excited” to see two more legends return to the Ski World Cup.

As SN exclusively reported, Lindsey Vonn is currently training again at Sölden, has put herself into play as a leader at Beaver Creek and has serious ambitions to return with her new prosthetic knee. “I just heard about it and have no idea what her plans are. But her knee, which has caused her so much pain, should be fine again. I'm happy about that and I wish her the best when she comes back. It actually does.”
