Wartburg. The professional choir is already busy rehearsing for the Christmas Concert on December 17 and the Christmas Mass with the “Obererndorf Silent Night Mass” on December 25 in the Wartberg Parish Church.

Following Gounod’s “Cäcilienmesse” at Windischgarsten Parish Church in mid-October, the professional musical traveled to the German cities of Erfurt, Weimar and Coburg from 26 to 31 October. A special challenge for the choir is the famous aria “Vom Himmel hoch, da komm ich her” by Martin Carbo in a modern arrangement and the catchy melody “Oh Holy Night”, using the special timbre of Magdalena Katsmeier.
